Great service and the sales people respect your space. You are not being bothered everfew minutes. That being said if you want to be helped you should call a representative to your location.
Absolutely will never buy anything from Brault and Martineau ever again. Purchased a mattress set that the salesperson guaranteed would take 10-14 days to arrive. Never did. Called several times to inquire on arrival and given different stories each time. Told for sure it would arrive today except only a box spring arrived and didn't know when the mattress would arrive. Finally someone got the brains enough to call the company today and what do you know ... it was never going to arrive because the company does not make this in the extra long that I was guaranteed. Absolutely unacceptable. Is it a common thing for them to just string people along thinking it might arrive some day. Should no one check . Finally because of my anger today it seemed they maybe should inquire. And when I told me to call me back today, they didn't. I had to call them. and the waiting time to get through and the annoying loud music that could deafen you or annoy you enough to hang up is crazy. I could go on and on. Cancelled my order, called Mattress Mart in Ottawa and wow 3 in stock. After demanding that Brault and Martineau find me one today, they said "oh no there is no way to find you one today". Good way to make up for their mistake might have been to call around as I did and get it to me. Horrible experience. Lets see if the truth ever goes on their site. Not even a token of compensation offered for my 6ft 3in son who slept on a small futon for 6 weeks.How about a personal response rather than an automated "couldn't care less one"
Had a great experience when I did my purchase. Unfortunately the quality of one of the product I bought did not meet my expectation as it was poor quality( a mattress should last more than 4 years) and I had to use the warranty that I paid for to exchange it. I am experiencing the worst customer service I ever had! Not only what is normally suppose to take 2 weeks is taking several weeks but its more than a month now. I called 4x today and got hung up on and this is not the first time it happens! It is unfortunate, I am moving and will need new furniture and was considering going to their store and now I do not want to set foot in any of there location ever again. I do not recommend this store to anyone who is looking for great customer service.
The management of this store has absolutely NO RESPECT FOR CLIENTS. Its now been two months of a nightmare with Brault and Martineau, and I start to wonder when and *if* I ever will receive what I paid for. When we initially placed our order, everything seemed fine: sales people promised us a seemingly problem-free transaction. Once we signed the papers, however, everything changed. The initial 4-6 weeks delivery has now turned into a 12+ weeks waiting time with no clear data on when (and if) the order will be delivered. Furthermore, the financing wasnt processed, even though we went twice to the store and called at least 4 other times to follow up. It took the intervention from Desjardins itself to find out that the forms we filled were sitting at the Directors office for a week and had never been submitted to the bank. I have been mistreated twice by the Director on the floor, who did absolutely *nothing* to help me solve the many problems I experienced with my order. Every time I spoke with anyone in store, whether in person or by the phone, I have been promised a follow-up that never came. They refused to give me any accurate information; it seems that they didn't even look into my files. I had to complain with the central at Brault and Martineau *twice* to finally get the store's General Manager to contact me. While the GM now is looking into the issues with the order, he wants to in his own words keep my expectations low that he will actually be able to do anything. I have not been offered the option to cancel my order, nor any compensation for all the hassle we went through, nor even a sincere acknowledgement that they goofed up big time. The GM instead went on to tell me that their employees have been working there long time, and they never experience any problem such as mine. His speech implies that I am the exception in complete contradiction to the consistently terrible ratings you see in Google. While management lives in denial and customer service is a shockingly unknown idea, they succeeded in turning me into a one-time sale. This was my first and last order with Brault and Martineau, and I am happy to share my horrible experience so that people dont fall into the same trap that I did.
Terrible, Horrible! NEVER buy anything from this store! My husband and I bought a sofa in February. It was delayed, broken and lost 5 times before we received it in July!!When we got it, each section of the seating cushions were different firmness, the frame was caved in, the stitching on the accent pillows was undoing. Customer service, the Gatineau store manager, the marketing and sales managers did not return calls and were extremely difficult to work with. after an inspection of our sofa in August and further lack of service and communication, the report from the inspector came back. the sofa is broken !!!Now the customer service agent called to arrange a pick up of the sofa and warned and threatened me. She said if I return a stained or damaged sofa I will not get my money back.... I am returning it because it's damaged. the B & M customer service agent said we will only get our money back after they inspect the damaged sofa and only then after 48 hrs will I receive my refund!!! Which brings us to hopefully getting our money back in October???? Buyer BEWARE ! Do NOT buy anything from this company!!
