Had to wait 18 hrs with my son who was covered in chicken pox...who was 10 at the time .. in the waiting room...Only reason I took him in was bc they were in his eyes..mouth and under the unmentionable part of his anatomy...
This hospital had the most efficient emergency room I have ever been in. Clean and quiet. Nurses and doctors all very accommodating on the surgery floor, post op, pre test. I have to say although a scary and sick experience for me, a really really good hospital for our region.Compliments to the teams.
ER is a total joke. First nurse did a scan and told us to wait for another call. Guess what...4hrs later and no word. They totally forgot we even had a file. No Dr and we see nurses changing shifts but we don't see what they do. Please avoidddd with every bit.of your blood. Terrible!!!!
This hospital is something else. Many times had to wait 20 hours to be seen . If you have any possibility go thru the bridge and visit Ottawa hospitals they are much better and faster. Unless you going to hospital with your mother in law which you hate then it's perfect place to say goodbye to her.
Had an asthma attack once here, my father had to go through the nurses physically to tell the doctor that I wasn't breathing anymore. If it wasn't for my dad's panic, I would've probably died that day. I was 8 at the time.
