Everything was fine until a grown 30 year old man started pushing my friend. I tried to defend her but he started pushing me so I got security to help and they told US to move away from him and he got drinks and hugs from the bartender. Extremely shocked that behaviour is permitted. Like COME on guys not cool at all.
Good luck in court mardi gras you and your ignorant security guards and bouncers. The same way you stepped on my head on the patio and broke my glasses and handcuffed me i will step on all your heads in in court by the power of law. The black bouncer should know i will persue him criminally for his arrogance and the way you all stepped on my head outside the club and handcuffed me on your power trip. This business will shut down really soon.
I recently had a work lunch at the restaurant that operates during the day at this club. Maybe we should have known that a club venue wouldn't be a great place for food but it was awful all the same. The chicken that they serve on the Voodoo poutine is clearly microwaved as it was not heated all the way through and was cold and wet in the middle and frankly didn't even look like chicken. Someone at the table asked for the Cajun fries with their meal and when it came with the regular ones it took them forever to replace them. So long that we were leaving by the time they came. In a party of 10+ people only 2 actually enjoyed their food. The service was average but I don't understand how a restaurant can operate with such low standards for the food they serve.
if i could give 0 stars i would.. drinks are so over priced 6$ for a shot and the bouncers were really aggressive after paying 6$ for a drink the bouncer didnt even ask me to put down the drink he literally just ripped it out of my hands and scrapped my hand against the brick wall.
Don't go. It was a horrible experience. I heard mardigras was one of the better clubs, but they made us wait over 3 hours and we couldn't even get in
