We went for lunch at the boat house down by the water. Lots of boats and sea doos rushing by. We had the fish and chips, they were pretty good. A duck was walking about and actually Walking up to people for food. I didn't have quackers to him, lol. Enjoy eyed the day. Cheers!
At the hot air balloon festival. Music is good food is good. Nice get away if you can come down. There is even some rides and games. Oh and the petting zoo as well as the house of reptiles.
Very accessible and well managed. The facilities are not lacking anything but the park specialize in anything. Although it is a great location for casual visits. Local events are usually a hit or miss but you can have a good time if you get creative (or have a big group).
It's a very serene park along the Ottawa river . Easy access for cycling and boating and fishing.
This park is essentially a larger open field. It gets used about once during the summer for the Montgolfier hot air balloon festival. It looks like it would be a great place to fly your RC planes or "drones" as quadcopters and the like are called these days, but I don't know whether it's permissible to do that here. If you want to talk a walk/jog or walk your dog in a big open field, this is the place. It's adjacent to Gatineau's newly developed Ottawa River recreational development.
