Nice old fashioned potato shack. Awesome food. Picnic tables are available outside.
Had a hot chicken and poutine taste was really good. Loved the sauce. huge plate for the price. Great quick and friendly service. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good 'chip stand' style of place. Would go there again .
Generational chip wagon. Started in the late 50s with a real chip wagon. The truck was later switched to a small take out restaurant/stand (covered picnic tables in summertime) at the same location where the original chip wagon started. An onsite storyboard of the Chip wagon/families history is posted for your reading pleasure. Now runned and operated by the founder's son with the same traditional best poutines in town, generous fries, excellent hamburgers, hotdogs, clubs, etc., etc., etc.... Excellent variety of offerings. Great staff. good greetings. A must have when driving by in Gatineau. You won't be dissapointed!!! :)Mike
Food is always good. In fact they have been invited to a competition in Toronto later this month for their chipstand truck. Good luck!
Didnt get classic poutine but they were delicious none the less. It was nice that the workers are bilingual, as my French is horrible no matter how much I try to learn.
