Nothing special, but it is very close to downtown Ottawa, had most amenities you might want. No restaurant or bar on location. The room was as good size and had a mini fridge, hair dryer. Ice machine only in the basement rather than only on each floor or every other floor. Pool was good, there is a lifeguard on duty. Small fitness room. I saw meeting rooms that you can book. Our river view room we reserved was on the second floor, so unless you're getting a room in the sixth floor or higher you probably won't see the river, so don't pay extra for that.
Great location. Right across from the trees walk exhibit. Extra hotel parking nearby. Clean hotel with a decent in house small restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great air conditioning.
Nice hotel. Check in was good front desk pleasant. Rrooms were good. No breakfast McDonald's close. Close to museums and 40.min walk.to parliament buildings.
The location is ideal within a short walking distance to the gardens and museums. The hotel pool is a longer walk than going to the gardens. Our suite with a kitchen was fine though we only had one chair and a very small table in our room with the bed. There were not dresser tops or other space to lay out luggage. Our main issue was that we never had an y warm or hot water. I reported the issue, but nothing changed. My husband took a very cold water shower, and I skipped it. There is no excuse for not having warm/hot water in a hotel in Gatineau. The hotel is pricey, so the rooms should absolutely have warm water.
A decent night of sleep with a nice view of Ottawa. 5 minute drive from just about all the attractions in town. Be ready to pay for your parking per night of stay, this was not mentioned when we reserved. No room service available either as the restaurant staff seem overloaded. All in all a decent stay, nothing more.
