The place looks just as cheap as it actually is (which basically is a good thing if you just wanna stay for a night). There's enough parking lots for everyone and it's easily accessible. Additionally you have a reasonable amount of (fast food/) restaurants to choose from in the area.The owner himself was quite friendly, but not exactly the best english or french speaker...you can get along though.The first thing I noticed after entering our room (number 20) was a rather unpleasant smell in the air (which was later neutralised with room refresher by the owner, after asking him). The room itself looks ok for its price...maybe one could swap the ugly curtains, but there's worse. The bath looked pretty nice at first sight, but when I saw the ceiling, which was moldy as hell and almost falling apart above the shower I quickly changed my mind. The shower itself worked fine though. You have to have some patience for hot water.All in all I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, who has another choice.
Not a great place to stay. Had power outage in the room. Always warm to hot
Dont know what these peeps are complaining about. Yeah sure the rooms arent the best, but what makes this place good is the service. He aint no snob stuck up on having a credit card and requires only a $40 deposit. Nice humble fella & he even came back to bring back a charger someone else left in the room before me. I caught a flat & it took me till 1:45 in the morning to get to the hotel & when I got there he gave me paper towel to wipe my dirty hands from changing my flat. Thanks for the stay
Staff was friendly but barely speak any English or French. I was communicating with them and it was very hard for me to understand anything. There was a very bad smell in the room. The room was very dirty, there was hair everywhere (on the floor, in the bathroom, in the bathtub, on the bed), the bed sheets had a bad smell as well as the pillows. On one of the towel, it had a brown spot. I went to the office and told them the room wasn't clean enough, he took the mop, put it in dirty water and mopped the floor (it was still dirty)... Also the internet connection was very bad; in my room, I didn't have any. I definitely didn't stay there, I asked for a full refund and I left. Anyway I would definitely not recommend it!!
Very affordable. Front desk staff (owner) is helpful. They promptly respond to complaints. The place is clean, however it is in a dire need of renovations. Sound insulation between the rooms is rather poor. Stayed there for a couple of nights in January 2018.
