Clean rooms with very good water pressure from the shower #1!The iron in the room didn't work very well, maybe warm at the best,ironing board would not stay in the up position so you had to use the in room desk..to low! Beds were good with 4 large pillows.Front desk staff said that no one really uses the iron, they have a one day turn around time for your dress shirts etc! not the answer I was looking for.The F&B are contracted out, to an outside company. You would never know this from all the fresh food for breakfast with may hot and cold items. I was looking around for a take out coffee cup, when one of the servers noticed and went to find me a to go cup.You would think that you were in a 5 star plus Hotel from the food without the 5 star pricing.
Room service didn't come to my room for the few days we stayed and there were bugs in the room flying around. Not coming back to a clean room is pretty bad after a long day. They didn't even want to compensate us directly as they said it was unfair to other guests who also didn't get their rooms cleaned. Service was quite blunt with undertones of irritation. Looks nice in the lobby and gym was clean.
As soon as you walk in the ambiance is captivating, inviting you to explore every corner. The staff is friendly and eager to assist with whatever you need. We we're not guests of the hotel but wouldn't hesitate to stay here if the opportunity arises.
Nice welcoming lobby with a beautiful fountain/garden display. Took very long to check in as there was only one desk worker. Beds were more on the firm side which is alright, I slept pretty well and that's the most important part to me. The beds seemed a bit old and we're very squeaky, just getting in and out of them sounded comical. Overall not too bad.
What's good about this place, you ask? Nothing! This place shouldn't exist, period. I walk into my room and one side of the bed had sunk in. I called the concierge, who sent someone to look at it. He reeked of smoke and made my pillows and the bed stink. He asked me to help him with the bed since he didn't have three hands, he said, he should have brought someone with him. The tub collected water, not sure if there is anyone who likes to stand in dirty water while taking a shower. My towel had hair on it and the sink had hair as well. No apologies received from the staff for the bed.
